“ My partner and I came in for the first time and enjoyed every single thing we ate. We went with medium spice level but they were nice enough to bring us some pepper on the side per request. The servers were lovely and kind. Food came out quick and hot! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu ”
“ Wow, wish I could give more than five stars. We ordered lamb jalfrezi (medium), shrimp biryani (medium), momo platter, garlic naan and mango lassis. Food was incredible. Favorite was the biryani. Service was so friendly also. Don’t live in the area and am jealous that there is no comparable place where I live. ”
“ HOLY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! We’ve been three times in the last three weeks, they’re gonna get sick of us. Their flavors are so deep and wonderful plus they are very reasonably priced. They have a large selection and comfortable booth seating. We love Curry MoMo!! ”
“ Finally had a chance to try Momo out and I was VERY glad I did! The restaurant has a pleasant, spacious and clean atmosphere about it that is easy to move around in and nice to soak in! The service was great on all fronts; attentive, aware, and always around if you need something! The food was Fricken great! Sample platter, lentil soup, lamb curry and rice and rice puffing, all were great tasty made how I liked it and hard not to wolf down! Momo is a great place if you ask me and I'd DEFINITELY recommend it I'd asked to! Pictures and videos are of the outside and inside of the restaurant, menus and food I got! ”
“ Our Nepali friend took us here because it's his favorite place in the Milwaukee area that serves authentic Nepali (with Indian dishes as options as well). I really enjoyed the Veggie Momo, and it was even better in the soup style - jho. The Nepali chicken curry was good, and everything was nicely portioned. Definitely worth the price! The rice pudding dessert was also tasty and for only 3 fed our table of four! The service was attentive and kind. We went on a cold winter night, so the only downfall was the draft whenever the door opened. Overall, i highly recommend! I want to go back and try the palak paneer. ”
“ A new ethnic restaurant in Glendale! They say they are a Himalayan restaurant, and I'm kinda ignorant here, but their menu seems Indian to me. They have all the familiar Indian cuisine - curry, tikka masala, naan and samosa. I was super doped to see the new sign when I was visiting the Pick and Save that shares the same parking lot, but they were so busy that day that I gave up trying to wait and went home. They've been calling me in my sleep though... so I went early evening today, at around 5 (Thursday) and ordered take out. Thankfully they weren't so busy as before, though they already had other pick up orders and two tables full. All a good sign. Beef Momo appetizer (6.50) The menu said "all apps will be served with homemade mint and tamarind chutney" but mom came with a different tomato sauce. I didn't care too much for the sauce, but the momo was solid. Goat curry (16.95) They had 4 spice levels - none, medium, hot, and super hot. We ordered hot. It was perfect, for two Koreans who love heat. The curry was delicious. The one reason I'm giving this place a 4 instead of 5 is that the goat meat was too chewy. It might have been better after stewing for another hour or so. Oh, and they also had chunks of fat (same size chunks as the meat) in there, which we picked out and threw out. Not very appetizing. Lamb Tikka Masala (16.95) We went with medium heat on this one, and it was really good. I'd even go without any heat next time. This doesn't have to be a spicy dish. It was great creamy and flavorful. The lamb could have been cooked a tad longer imo, but it was better than the goat. I was taking pictures on my way out and the gals working there were looking at me like I was crazy lol. But I noticed that their business wasn't on Yelp yet and wanted to make sure it got there. We need to support local ethnical places like this! Please keep up the great food coming! ”
“ My husband and I originally were going to go to kings wok next door. We’ve been there 10 times but we decided to try the place next door. It was empty so I was a little hesitant. We walked in and were greeted right away we sat down and had no idea what to order. The food was hot and delicious! The cheese nan was amazing! Best decision ever!!! Will come again ! ”
“ Came here with the family to try the new Indian / Malaysian restaurant close to home. We had some somosa and veggie momo to start then the tandoori chicken, lamb sag, lamb biryani, and a chicken curry with garlic and cheese naan. The sag and curry were excellent. I could have gone medium on the sag, ordered mild out of caution. Curry was medium and not too spicey even for me. The tandoori chicken was tasty though was all thick breast so didnt take in the flavor as much as I'd like. The biryani was just ok, heavier than I prefer. They were busy so service was a bit slow and the limited staff didnt do many rounds. Yet, everyone was friendly. Prices were not as cheap as I have seen elsewhere in town though still very happy to have this non chain restaurant so close to home. Will be back. ”
